Gameriro and Diego Kosta have broken the Basque fortress

Atletico Madrid rebounded 7 points from Barcelona after defeating at home Athletic Bilbao 2-0. Reserve Kevin Gamiro and Diego Kosta scored hits for `mats` in the second half. The Frenchman scored after Antoine Grizzman`s pass in the 67th minute, and in the 80th Kosta finished with a perfect shot a perfect counter, based on which was Gamayor. The hosts gathered 55 points and continue to pursue Barca while Athletic stayed 14th with 28 points and a negative goal difference. During the week, both teams were tested in the Europa League and virtually banned their participation in the tournament`s eighth finals. Atletico defeated Denmark`s 4:1 FC Copenhagen, while the Basques surprised Spartak (Moscow) 3-1 in the Russian capital. The Madrid players, however, are in a much better shape in the championship, where they won their three previous games without a goal. At the same time, Athletic was in a series of 5 meetings without success and were in the lower half of the table. Until recently, injured Diego Kosta returned to the home team and led the attack, along with Antoine Grizzman. Jose Jimenez replaced Diego Godin in the defense, Joaquin Korea and Saul attacked the wings, and Gabi Fernandez, Vitolo and Yannik Ferreira Carasco remained on the bench. Kepa Arizabalga, who was close to a transfer to Real Madrid, stood at Athletic`s door at the expense of Jagi Erein. Ivany Williams, assisted by Sabin Merino, Mikel Vesga and Mark Sussaete, was in the front row.

Athletico started strong. Most Los Ribblancos attacks were on the right, where Korea was very well combined with Shime Vursalko. Kie was actively pushing the guests` defenders, and Gimenez missed to find the result via fixed betting tips after a Grizzman foul. In the 19th minute, there was a serious suspicion of a penalty after Athletic`s defender dragged Diego Kosta with him, but Judge Jose Luis Gonzalez passed the situation. Since then, the game has been quite annoyed, with some more harsh entry into the middle of the pitch and passive referee behavior.

In the 28th minute Inyaki Williams also demanded a penalty. The darker striker of the guests was blocked by Luca Hernandez, then fell and claimed to have been kicked out by the Frenchman. However, Gonzalez was of another opinion. At the end of the half-time Atletico increased the pressure, but he was chaotic and did not lead to a goal in front of the Basque door. Madrid did not find a way to Kepa`s door, although their attacks became more varied after the break. Simeone replaced Coke with Kevin Gamayro and Atletico seemed even more offensive. Diego Kosta missed a good chance with his head, and Jan Oblak had to go outside his penalty box to stop Ianaki Williams.

In the 67th minute a ball was taken in the middle of the field, a quick start to the home side. Grizzman handed over to Gamayor and his stroke on the diamond was unbeatable - 1:0 for Atletico. Shortly thereafter, Rokin could have made a 2-0 draw but crossed the crossbar.

In the end, the hosts had more free space in front of them, and the Bilbao players got fumigated. In the 80th minute Diego Kosta was taken out?
